Organized by Chess Dojo, Ultimate Sensei is a chess coaching competition in which prominent coaches train the competitors who face off against each other for prizes and honor. I designed the aesthetic concept including the logo, player cards and the promotional video, which was also used as an intro.

The aim was to inspire a lot of hype while retaining the light-hearted and welcoming attitudes of the operators of Chess Dojo. 

I altered their existing logo by adding a bandana to the 'king', in addition to some other minor alterations. Then I put it in front of a sleek, dynamic background to synthesize the basic aesthetic concept of Ultimate Sensei. The player cards were then created to fit this aesthetic.
