PUCL is a British chess league featuring the strongest talent from universities across the UK who compete in a league spanning the course of an academic year.

I designed the logo, resembling a chess queen, the most powerful piece on the board, to convey the talent of the participants and a high level of competitiveness.

The website, made together with co-organizer, Michael Green, contains elements of original photography and animation give an epic vibe while still offering a smooth, user friendly navigation experience.

​

I also produced the promotional video using mostly elements from the website with a lot of pan, zoom and transition effects to deliver a suspenseful promo which packs a punch.
